Stellekaya is located in an old brandy cellar, within walking distance from the Stellenbosch town centre.
The cellar had been completely renovated and has a capacity of about 20,000 cases (6 x 750ml) of premium red wine a year.
All of our production is made using the traditional “pigeage”, punch down method in open fermentationbins. The fruit is cooled on arrival and a cold maceration process is applied to ensure that the fruit flavors are captured prior to fermentation taking place.
All our wines are pressed using a wooden basket press followed by 100% maturation in French Oak Barrels.
